Yesterday was Myrddin (the boyfs) 21st Birthday and so I braved the snow and ice to treck up to his parents house. I have to say it was pretty scary driving in such bad conditions, especially since where he lives is much higher up than my house. I don't think my footwear was the most sensible choice considering, however I didn't think wellington boots would quite cut it for such a special occasion! We then went on from his house to a beautiful restaurant called The Queens Head where I ate my weight in a stunning mushroom and asparagus risotto, followed by possibly the nicest steak I have ever tasted. Beaut. It was a shame that the birthday boy couldn't have a birthday drink as he was forced to drive seeing as he has a 4x4 and I'm not sure my little Renault Clio would have coped!!
We had a lovely evening and I can't wait for his surpise birthday present which will be MAGICAL! The look on his face I am hoping will be priceless.
I must also apologise for the state of my room in these pictures. Since moving back home into my parents house it has been a struggle to contain all of my things in one room. I have FAR to much junk. And far too many clothes. I may have to start selling them on Ebay soon otherwise I will have nowhere to sleep!
Yes, OK so the list is fairly long...but these are just ideas and I certainly do not expect to get ALL of these items.
There is however one other item I am REALLY hoping for off the parentals and that is a new camera. Mine has seen me through many years in university and beyond, but I am afraid to say the time has come to upgrade! I am also hoping that once I do have a shiny new camera i will be able to post more outfit shots onto my blog as at the moment 1. The quality isn't that great and 2. I have nobody to take the photos for me (my self timer work is slightly shoddy)!
Anyway, I hope all of you have been compiling Christmas lists and are feeling as festive as I am.
Keep smiling

I have always been one of those people who lusts after a thick full fringe a la Lily Allen, and so I hastily enter the bathroom armed with a pair of nail scissors and a comb in hand (never a good combination!) and end up leaving the bathroom looking more like an 8 year old who's been attacked by her mother! Uh oh!
Maybe I should leave these sorts of things to my trusted hairdresser, who seems to know my hair like the back of her hand and always gets it right. Unlike me. Each time I sit down in her chair the same phrase greets me "You've been at it AGAIN??! Right, let's see what we can do" And an hour later I emerge a new woman, fringe and all.
But I'm still not sure if a fringe is actually for me. Some people just seem to really suit it and manage to make it look all bohemian and nonchalant. Yet no matter what I do I still seem to look like an overgrown school girl! Ah well... maybe I should just face the fact that I will have to stick to my sweeping side fringe.
Here are some people who definitely get the full fringe right:
